After weeks of Donald Trumps campaign to denounce President Obamas American born citizenship the White house last week officially released the President's legitimate birth certificate that was signed by doctors in Honolulu Hawaii. Remarkable enough this was not enough efficient clarification and proof for some "birthers" out there. Many of them are questioning the authenticity of the certificate and still question his american born citizenship. Instead of Trump admitting he was wrong he states that he is "proud" for getting a move on the whole situation and is now questioning Obama's grades in college. It seems to me that some people cannot just eat their "humble pie" and have the courage to admit they were flat out wrong about their accusations. I personally believe that Trump is only doing this for publicity to get higher ratings for his show "Celebrity Apprentice." Many Republicans are denouncing Trump and say he is taking attention away from the real issues that matter and i could not agree more. I believe the whole "birther" movement is political garbage that is trying to persuade many voters that he is anti American and not a legit President. There are too many issues that need to be addressed, questioning our Presidents college grades and pace of birth is irrational and nonsense.

United States military abroad.
The United States has close to 1,000 military bases around the world. The recent presence in Libya brings The United States one base closer to that mark. The latest count released by the Pentagon is 865. The United States still has a large concentration of bases and troops in Germany, Japan, and South Korea. The problem with the United States getting involved with a foreign country, like Libya, is America never actually leaves. Financially and militarily America continues to stretch themselves thin by having an unnecessary military presence in many countries. It’s been almost half a century since World War Two yet the military has still have not left Germany or Japan. These bases are left there because they claim to be critical to our national security. Also, many of the bases are located in countries that are democratic states and no longer pose a threat to the national security. The United States continues to occupy many other nations militarily because private institutions profit and so do the politicians who are in their pocket. I believe that It is not in our nation’s national security interest to have military bases around the world. It would make more sense in the interest of taxpayer money and national security if the government placed troops and bases abroad along the southern border.
The United states will only bankrupt itself by continuing the spread of military bases abroad. Military bases in foreign territory is much more costly then domestic ones. I have read enough research on this topic that supports the claim that it is not in our nations best interest to have a military presence around the world. I have listed a few links below that support my argument.

The Trump
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/04/17/donald-trump-mitt-romney-_n_850195.html
In Todays Political arena there is plenty of a cheap shots and name calling, however more and more it occurs within the same political party. Donald Trump is expected to announce his bid for the 2012 presidential race as a GOP nominee. I personally don't like Donald Trump because his ego lies in his bank account and he denounces anyone who actually questions his net worth. The truth is Trump is not a self made million/billionaire because he got his start in the Real Estate business from his father Fred Trump who was indeed a billionaire. In this article he claims he is "many many many times Mit Romney" as far as net worth is concerned. I cant stand the notion that in order for someone to be more successful that they need to be "big time" and "big business." Trump is bad for politics and Romney has done so much more for small business owners and i believe has a greates grsp on how to run a successful business both small and large. No matter how much Trump tries to boost his ego one cant forget where he came from and the countless "washups" he had with his casinos and Atlantic City. The truth is "The Donald" has declared bankruptcy several times in his rel estate ventures and laid off countless contractors and construction workers in the process. It is only because of his show "The Apprentice" that he began to make more money.

new budget proposal
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/
I liked this article from the huffington post because it kind of captured how i feel about the latest agreement and "compromise" on capitol hill from congress. It seemed as if perhaps maybe president Obama is trying to be too agreeable because election season is soon approaching. Harry reid called this a "historic" event because planned parenthood and The EPA was prevented from getting shutdown. To most people who are not idea logs dont really care too much about social issues rather are more concerned about balancing the budget and creating a growing economy. I get the sense that again too much politics is getting in the way of getting anything done in Washington. On another note that is not in this article but related to the Gov't shutdown is the possibility of out service men and women not receiving a paycheck because of the shutdown. I think that is absurd and there must be a bill that will prevent that from ever happening.

need a good lawyer? cnn and craiglist.
http://www.cnn.com/2011/CRIME/03/26/hinckley.today/index.html# i found this article to be very interesting because i was unaware of the actual circumstances of the Reagan assassination attempt about 30 years ago. It is an article on CNN website under the title "justice" section. It was bought to my attention that the man who tried to kill president Reagan is about to be released from a mental hospital and will soon be free. I was also unaware that he never did any hard time and got a 30 year sentence to a mental hospital because his lawyers pleaded the "insanity" card. I believe anyone who tries to kill anyone intentionally is insane anyway. Whether or not he clinically was insane i suppose we will never know. He certainly convinced a judge and jury that he was insane and the court favored in his plead. To try and kill the president and play the insane card and win is very hard to do. I was not surprised to see a connection in an Advertisement on the bottom right hand corner of this article called http://www.lawyers.com/ which promotes lawyers, attorneys, and law firms. I soon realized that lawyers.com very well may have paid for this AD space. It makes people want to question if there is always a motive behind decent journalism and does there always have to be some kind of special interest and kickbacks to lobbyist, lawyers, big companies and so on? I soon realized that lawyers.com was advertised under every news article under the justice section of CNN. This section of CNN has become a place not only where one who is interested in the news to read articles rather it has also become a place for people who are interested in finding a source for a good attorney because i would imagine that only the most highly regarded lawyers have the money to advertise on a well know news outlet.
I also saw the same website lawyers.com advertised on www.craigslist.com. It was listed under the Legal section which did not surprise me. What surprised me is it was listed under the discussion forum "divorce". The conversation forums under craigslist are supposed to be for discussion only not necessarily for advertisements or purchasing items. This made me feel it was a lot like the CNN article where people were supposed to go there just to read the news and get decent journalism without any other agenda like selling lawyers. Advertising is everywhere now and it cant be avoided. You can find it from credible news outlets to simple discussion forums on craigslist.com .The connection i am making between CNN and craigslist is there is the same motive behind their discussion forums and news articles and that is simply to promote and make money from big companies that are willing to spend alot of money to advertise. CNN will always have a justice section for that reason alone just like craigslist will have discussion forums on divorce and other lawyer related matter.

tea partiers "shut it down"
http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/03/31/6384346-tea-party-ralliers-shut-it-down
I am all for any one citizen protesting and speaking their minds, i feel many people who sometimes join protests and rallies have good intentions and want to see thier country do better. however with that said i get a feeling from reading many articles and watching videos on the tea party activist that a good majority of them do not know all the facts and get thier news from sources that demomize any democratic agenda and government for that matter. I too do not believe in an oversize overnment but i feel it has its place and does do good. Organizations like the EPA and national relations board are "loathed by tea party activist". I found this to be very surprising because the EPA has done alot and helped prevent many problems caused by industrial plants and man made chemicals and abuse. If people did enough research on just about anything then their opinions wouldnt be so strong and they wouldnt have so much animosity. But thats just my opinion.
